William Crittenden Adams

Adams, William Crittenden, real estate operator, financier, of 100 Broadway, New York City, was born San Francisco, Cal., April 11, 1863; 

son of Samuel and Alice (White) Adams; graduate School of Applied Science, Columbia University, C.E. ; married, Brooklyn, N.Y., Feb. 19, 1889, Grace Fairchild James; children : Crittenden Hull, James Fairchild, Darwin James. Engaged in real estate operations, New York City, making a specialty in mortgage loans. President Union Mortgage Co., Rutgers Realty Co., S. F. Adams Realty Co.: vice-president Fairchild Co., vice-president and trustee U.S. Savings Bank. 

Served in Seventh regiment New York N.G., seven years; in Troop 2, Squadron A, six years; service medal of State of N.Y. Republican. Presbyterian. Member Alumni Association, Columbia School of Mines. Clubs: Riding, Quill, Adirondack League, Union League, Barnard, Nassau Country, Lawyers.
